ROBERT CROSS has more that 15 years of experience in the international resource equity markets. He is Chairman of Northern Orion Resources Inc., and Founder and Chairman of Bankers Petroleum Ltd. In 2002 he was Chairman of EAGC Ventures, which purchased a 120,000 ounces per year South African gold mining operation. The company was subsequently sold to Bema Gold Corporation of which he is now a director. Between 1996 and 1998 he was the Chairman and CEO of Yorkton Securities Inc. From 1987 to 1994 he was a Partner – Investment Banking of Gordon Capital Corporation in Toronto. He has a degree in Engineering for the University of Waterloo, and received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1987.
PIERRE GAGNON studied Commerce at the University of Toronto and is an Associate of the Institute of Canadian Bankers. In 1988, he joined Brukar Inc., a manufacturer of industrial components for the food equipment industry as president. Mr. Gagnon is the chair of Copernicus Educational Products Inc. He is a director of publicly listed Tangarine Concepts Corporation, and Pisces Capital Corporation as well as a number of private companies. Mr. Gagnon is currently the president of Chancery Investments Inc., an investment company.
CRAIG GRAHAM received his Honours B.A. from York University, Ontario. In 1984 Mr. Graham assumed the position of Chairman and CEO of FRI Corporation. He left FRI Corporation to become Chairman of both Illsley Bourbonnais Ward Howell International and Verity International Ltd. In 1992 he joined SmithBooks as Chairman and CEO. Mr. Graham is currently a Director/Investor in Twenty First Century Investments, Entertainment One, Executive Risk Services, Norsim Ltd., and Quest Partners - North America. He is also the Chairman and Co-Owner of Waterstone Human Capital.
DONALD JACKSON has over thirty years experience in senior executive positions in a broad range of industrial activities in Canada, the United States, and internationally. His career includes both entrepreneurial and corporate involvement. He is currently Chairman, President and CEO of Vector Aerospace Corporation, Executive Chairman of Northstar Aeorspace Inc, as well as Chairman of Parkview Capital Partners Inc, a private equity investment group that he founded in 1993. He holds a MBA from the University of Western Ontario and has studied at Harvard and the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland. Mr. Jackson's principal directorships are as follows: Parkview Capital Partners Inc., Vector Aerospace Corporation, Northstar Aerospace Inc., Trimin Capital Corp. and Active Mould & Design Limited.
JOHN KETTLEWELL received his Engineering and Masters degrees from the University of Alberta. In 1971 he joined Purity Packaging Limited, which by 1983 had evolved into Innopac with 20 manufacturing plants throughout North America. In 1986 Mr. Kettlewell and his brother sold their interest in Innopac and have been involved in various manufacturing companies since. Mr. Kettlewell was a founding director and shareholder in two venture capital companies, Altimira Capital and Zaleski Sherwood of New York. At present Mr. Kettlewell serves on the advisory committee for the Shotgun Fund, is an director for several privately held companies, and manages his own investment company.
WARREN KETTLEWELL studied Business Administration at Ryerson. He was President of Purity Packaging and later President and C.E.O. of Innopac, a TSE company with 20 manufacturing plants throughout North America. Since 1986 he has acted in the capacity of President, Director or Chairman of a number of privately held companies and venture capital organisations.
ROBERT RUBINOFF attended the University of Western Ontario and New York University. Mr. Rubinoff was President of Leeds Sportswear Ltd. and held numerous positions at Commonwealth Holiday Inns of Canada Ltd., latterly as Executive Vice-President and Director. He is currently President of Inglewood Holdings and Sheffield Inc. (US); Director of The Equitable Trust Co. and The Huron University College Foundation; member of the Mount Sinai Hospital Board of Directors and Vice-Chairman of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation.
